Schulte Marine Concept is pleased to report launching in Astillero Hijos de J. Barreras, S.A., Vigo, Spain of Hull No.C1700, Accommodation Offshore Vessel ordered by Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex), Mexico. This is the first of two vessels for Pemex, where Schulte Marine Concept is responsible for the new-build supervision.

Vessel’s principal particulars: LOA = 131.20 m, B = 27.00 m, D = 7.30 m. At draft of 6.00 m, the vessel will achieve service speed of 12.0 knots with the diesel electrical propulsion plant electric developing 5.400 kW (2 x 2.700). The vessel features high standard accommodation for 700 persons, DP3: two stern azimuth thrusters + two fwd side thrusters + one fwd retractable azimuth thruster, 42m telescopic gangway with heave compensator for wave height corresponding to sea state 4. The vessel is classed by DNV GL and is built to Malta flag requirements.

Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for July 2016.
